Quickening vs. gas

So this week, my gummy bear is the size of an apple. Mike like to call her our yit (short for yittle one- which was what Mike's Jewish friend would always call it when she asked if we were pregnant yet). I've found myself talking to her and wanting to touch her (although she can't really feel me at all). I can't wait until I start feeling her. I've been reading about how to know when you start to feel the baby as opposed to just feeling gas and I'm hoping I'll figure it out when it happens. We saw her kicking up a storm on the Ultra Sound so I know she's moving around, I just can't wait to feel her myself.

my weight gain continues to steadily increase (much faster than it is supposed to of course) but all my doctor visits show that everything is healthy and working properly so I try (try being the operative word) not to worry about it.

I did have my first ever killer leg cramp. Holy cow, I thought my muscles were about to pop or something. Not sure if that's pregnancy related or dehydration or just the result of the walking and hiking I've done over the last two weeks at CIMI and Sea World. I think it's time to take a break for recuperation.
