The She is a She!

We had our 2nd trimester (and probably our last) ultrasound today. Mike and I were excited to invite my mom to it. She said that things are definitely different now compared to when I was a baby. After a little bit of drama at the Fetal and Women's Center and the acknowledgement that we would be incurring an out-of-pocket expense again, we decided to go ahead with the ultrasound.

In addition to seeing some adorable pics of our little girl...yes she is for sure a girl, we also received confirmation that all her limbs and organs looks perfect. She was moving quite a bit so it was difficult to get the profile shots that we were able to get last time but here are a few (in addition to the one's on facebook).

Now that we know for sure we are having a girl, I'm excited to finally register, which Kristy and I are going to do on Sunday!  Also, my two amazing and loving girlfriends A and E (LindsAy and LindsEy) have asked to throw me my baby shower! So many great pieces of news in one week, I don't deserve such wonderful friends.

In spite of so many other things happening in my life, I am very blessed indeed. God is good!

  1. So excited for you! Happy to hear she is healthy and that you are doing well! Enjoy all the ups and downs of pregnancy, even the hard days are so worth it! Just remember, there is an end in sight and at that end you get to hold your sweet little girl! You will be amazed at how all of the weird and uncomfortable things that happen during pregnancy disappear quickly after delivery! Hang in there, you are doing great...and have fun registering!!!
